Brocade® Communication Systems
Founded in 1995, Brocade® Communication Systems (NASDAQ: BRCD) provides data center networking solutions and services to manage information assets. Brocade solutions are used in over 90 percent of Global 1000 data centers as well as in enterprise LANs and the largest service provider networks. The company currently employs approximately 2,500 people in San Jose and 4,400 worldwide. This video celebrates the planning and execution that went into the construction of Brocade's world-class 562,000 sf campus and data center in San Jose, California.

The estimated cost of the project is $278 million, with the Redevelopment Agency investing $2.5 million for new capital equipment acquisitions.


San Jose Advantage: International Rectifier
International Rectifier (IR), a world leader in power management technology, recently relocated its manufacturing facility to North San Jose from Santa Clara. The San Jose Redevelopment Agency assisted International Rectifier with finding the company's new 35,000-square-foot building. International Rectifier currently employs approximately 100 employees at the San Jose facility and 4,000 worldwide.
